1 Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Multiclash Labs ("we", "us", or "our"), governing your access to and use of the mobile application Handwriting to Text AI (Package: com.anzarul.handwritingtotextai).
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Handwriting to Text AI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any provision of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use and uninstall the application.
2 Service Description & Dual-Engine Architecture
Handwriting to Text AI provides high-precision optical character recognition (OCR) and document digitization utilities designed to help students, professionals, and researchers transcribe handwritten notes, whiteboards, notebook pages, and documents into digital text. Key capabilities include:
- Live Camera Capture: Viewfinder with intelligent document framing, cyan alignment brackets, and single/batch scanning modes.
- 8-Handle Perspective Deskew: Zero-margin full-frame perspective correction with 1.8x loupe magnifier and contrast enhancement tools.
- Dual-Engine OCR: Hybrid processing utilizing Google Gemini Generative Language API (Ultra AI Vision) when connected to the internet, and on-device Google ML Kit with Spatial Line Reconstruction when offline.
- Transcription Workspace: Full editing suite featuring line numbering, text formatting (Bold, Italic, Underline), undo/redo, one-tap clipboard copy, and A4 vector PDF export.
3 User Content Ownership
100% Ownership Retained by You: You retain full, unencumbered ownership and all intellectual property rights in any handwritten notes, images, photos, extracted texts, transcriptions, and exported PDF documents processed using the application.
Multiclash Labs does not claim any ownership, copyright, or licensing rights over your content. Because images are processed ephemerally in RAM during online cloud OCR and stored locally in on-device sandboxed databases, we have zero access to your personal documents.
4 Acceptable Use & Conduct
You agree to use Handwriting to Text AI strictly for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree that you will not:
- Scan, transcribe, or export documents that infringe upon third-party intellectual property, copyrights, trademarks, or trade secrets without authorization.
- Attempt to decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or extract source code, neural models, or API tokens from the application.
- Use automated scripts, bots, or emulators to bypass scan credit allocations or simulate ad engagement.
- Interfere with, disrupt, or compromise the security and network integrity of the application or its connected services.
5 Scan Credits & Monetization Model
Handwriting to Text AI operates on an ads-supported access model designed for maximum fairness and transparency:
- 5 Free Lifetime Scans: Every new user is granted 5 complimentary scan credits upon installation to evaluate OCR precision.
- Credit Refill (+1 Scan per Rewarded Ad): When credits reach 0, users can watch a short Google AdMob rewarded video ad to earn +1 scan credit per completed view. Users are never locked out of scanning.
- Strict Ad Frequency Capping: To ensure an uninterrupted workflow, zero ads are shown during viewfinder camera capture, perspective adjustment, or crop review. Interstitials are frequency-capped with cooldown protections.
6 Third-Party Services & Dependencies
The application integrates reputable third-party services to deliver cloud AI recognition and advertising:
- Google Gemini Generative Language API: Provides cloud-based optical character recognition. Usage is subject to Google's Terms of Service.
- Google Mobile Ads (AdMob): Delivers interstitial and rewarded video ads subject to Google's Privacy and Advertising Policies.
- Google ML Kit: On-device machine learning library bundled natively with the app for offline Latin script recognition.
7 Disclaimers & Recognition Accuracy
OCR Accuracy Notice: While Handwriting to Text AI incorporates state-of-the-art AI models achieving up to 99.8% precision on legible notes, handwriting legibility varies widely. The application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that text transcription will be 100% error-free for all cursive styles, faded inks, or low-light captures.
You are strongly encouraged to review and verify all transcribed text within the editable transcription workspace before using it for critical academic, legal, financial, or medical purposes.
8 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Multiclash Labs, its officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your access to or inability to use the application.
9 Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in India.
