Welcome to Smart Whiteboard (package: com.anzarul.smartwhiteboard), developed and published by Multiclash Labs ("we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains our stringent standards concerning the collection, storage, and handling of data when you utilize our Android application.

By installing, launching, or using Smart Whiteboard, you agree to the privacy practices outlined in this document. If you do not agree with any terms described herein, please refrain from using the application.

2. Information We Do NOT Collect

To respect your creative and instructional freedom, Smart Whiteboard is architected with a zero-data collection philosophy regarding personal and educational content:

• No User Account or Login Required: You do not need an email, phone number, password, or profile to create and manage boards.
• No Board Sync or Remote Storage: Your whiteboard vector strokes, canvas templates (Pure White, Grid, Dot, Lined, Chalkboard), images, formulas, and imported lesson notes are stored purely locally inside your phone's application directory.
• No Contact or Location Data: We do not request or access your device address book, GPS coordinates, or personal credentials.

3. Device Permissions & Why They Are Needed

When you use specific teaching and creative features, Smart Whiteboard may request standard Android system permissions. Each permission is used solely at your explicit invocation:

• Camera Permission (android.permission.CAMERA): Optional. Used only when you tap the camera tool to photograph a printed diagram, assignment sheet, or math formula to place onto your active canvas. The captured image is stored strictly on your local device.
• Photos, Media & Storage (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Optional. Used solely when you choose to embed an image or sticker from your photo gallery onto your board.
• PDF & Document Access: Used when you utilize the Import PDF feature to convert presentation slides or syllabus documents into whiteboard background pages. The PDF files are rendered locally via on-device native libraries (pdfx) and are never transmitted over the internet.
• Write/Export Storage (Scoped Storage): Used when you tap Export to PNG or Export to PDF to save your finished board into your public Downloads or Pictures folder.

4. Advertising & Third-Party SDK Disclosures

Smart Whiteboard is a free educational and professional utility supported by ethical, non-intrusive advertising provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC):

• Rewarded Ads for Pro Features: We offer a transparent rewarded-ad flow where watching a voluntary 30-second video ad unlocks 1 hour of Pro features (such as 4K resolution exports and advanced teaching templates).
• Data Processed by Google AdMob: Google AdMob may collect and process pseudo-anonymous technical identifiers (including Google Advertising ID / AAID, coarse diagnostic data, app crash reports, and IP address) in order to serve contextual or personalized advertisements and prevent fraud.
• Google's Privacy Standards: AdMob operates under Google's Privacy Policy available at: https://policies.google.com/privacy.
• User Opt-Out: You can reset or opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your Android device settings at Settings > Google > Ads > Delete or Reset Advertising ID.

5. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Family Policy Compliance)

Smart Whiteboard is intended as a classroom whiteboard, homework helper, and creative drawing workspace for general audiences, teachers, and students. We strictly adhere to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play Families Policy guidelines:

• We do not knowingly collect, store, or transmit personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK).
• All advertising configurations served within the application comply with child-directed standards where applicable.
• If a parent or legal guardian discovers that their child has provided personal information to a third-party partner without appropriate consent, please contact us at support.multiclash@gmail.com to ensure immediate remediation.

6. Data Retention & Complete Erasure Rights

Because all board data resides exclusively on your local device:

• Instant Local Deletion: You can delete any individual board, stroke, or imported document directly from the board management screen at any time.
• Temporary Cache Clear: In-app Settings > Clear Temporary Cache clears all temporary files immediately.
• Complete Erasure via Uninstall: Uninstalling the application immediately and irreversibly deletes all sandboxed boards, images, and local databases from your device storage.

7. International Compliance (GDPR, CCPA & Indian DPDP Act)

Regardless of your geographic location, we respect fundamental privacy rights:

• GDPR (EEA & UK): As we do not store personal data on remote servers, no international data transfers of your whiteboard content occur. Legal basis for third-party advertising SDKs is user consent or legitimate interest as managed through Google Consent Management.
• CCPA / CPRA (California, USA): We do not sell or share personal user data. You maintain complete autonomy over your local device files.
• Digital Personal Data Protection Act (India): We respect consumer data autonomy with zero unauthorized processing of educational or personal boards.

8. Security Safeguards

We maintain industry-standard security practices:

• Android OS internal application sandboxing prevents third-party apps from accessing your whiteboard storage directories.
• Network communication is limited strictly to Google AdMob secure HTTPS endpoints.
• No background tracking services or telemetry daemons run outside active user sessions.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect functional improvements or evolving regulatory requirements. Any modifications will be posted directly to this URL with an updated "Effective Date". Your continued use of Smart Whiteboard constitutes your agreement to any revisions.
